I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English at Northeastern State University. I joined the Peace Corps and moved to Zambia, Africa where I taught both kids and adults for over two years. I love being an educator. I am experienced using a wide-variety of techniques to teach my pupils not only their lessons, but critical thinking skills that are necessary for learning. I have taught English as a Second Language and I am completing the requirements for certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). However, I am just as skilled in tutoring students who are native English speakers in many areas of the English language.
