I have been tutoring for years, and I like to know the students I'm helping are reaching the 'aha' moment, where the concepts behind problems are understood. I also know how difficult courses can be without the aid of someone who's been there. I have tutored from the elementary level to the college level, with most of my students being in middle school and high school. When I tutor someone I want to make sure we are addressing those things the person needs to do to finish impending due dates or wants to learn to get prepared for a test coming up.
