I worked in education for 15 years between mentoring, coaching, and teaching. I love to bring out the best in people, and I'm very optimistic and enthusiastic. I like to connect with students so that I can relate to them and identify and build on their strengths. When students are able to understand and cultivate their talents, they become more confident and begin to excel. I can tutor students in algebra, writing, public speaking, world religions, social studies, English, elementary and middle school math, and others. I'm currently studying counseling, and I have a masters degree in applied theology. In my free time, I like to hang out with friends and family, play basketball and football, go for hikes, and fish.
