I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as licensed by the State of Texas. I have been a practicing accountant for over thirty years and have held accounting positions as Assistant Treasurer at global banking organizations; as well as Controller for regional, family owned businesses. I desire being a tutor to assist others in gaining a through, basic understanding of accounting principles. I believe if one understands the concepts of accounting, then their personal finances should be easier to manage. As a current CPA license holder, I take over the minimum required Continuing Professional Education (CPE) classes to maintain my level of professional awareness, business education, and skill set. As a tax preparer for individuals and small businesses, I have assisted motivated individuals and owners to both understand and apply accounting principles for their financial gain.
