Worked one on one with students as a para-educator in a Kansas public school system: January-May 2008 CLEPed out of English Composition for my degree program I love reading and writing. In primary school English was my favorite subject, so naturally I chose to continue studying it in college. Now, after finishing my degree, I still love reading and have gained invaluable experience writing. In 2013, I interned with Tulsa People Magazine where I fact checked articles and wrote a few of my own, too. Afterwards, I continued with them freelance. Currently, I'm a stay at home mom, caring for a bouncing crawler. I dream of passing on my love of reading to my children.

Hobbies

My primary hobby has always been reading, but I also played the piano throughout middle school and high school. I still love to play the piano and have picked up singing and playing the guitar as well. Currently, I'm gardening, dreaming of backyard chickens, training a puppy, and enjoying being a homemaker for my family. Though, not a hobby, some aspects of all of this feel hobbyish. Maybe that's because most of my time is spent learning new things. My husband and I also love to travel and camp.
