I worked as a tutor with the University of Tulsa Math Lab over the past academic year. The Math Lab is a free walk-in service provided by the University of Tulsa Math department for students needing help in math. The tutors on hand are responsible for helping students in algebra and calculus courses up through calculus III as well as other introductory courses and some business math courses. I am currently a tutor at math only learning center where I work with students from grade school to high school on a daily basis SAT: 2100 ACT: 35 My main motivation to continue and expand my tutoring career is the look on the face of a student when they understand. I enjoy engaging with students and enabling them to overcome their academic hurdles, but the personal reward is watching the transformation as problem and solution come together.
