I have provided assistance to numerous peers and colleagues throughout my academic tenure. I would make the perfect tutor because I have been told that I am able to take complex subjects and put them into understandable terminology or lay man terms. In high school and college, I showed strengths primarily in the math and science fields. I took advanced placement (AP) classes in chemistry and calculus, though I always thought algebra and geometry were the most fun! I studied sociology and criminology in college at the University of Oklahoma. I was awarded with the Outstanding Undergraduate Criminology Award and the Outstanding Criminology Researcher Award in college. Despite my success in these fields, I still decided to become an attorney in Tulsa. As an attorney, I have published in the Oklahoma Bar Journal and have been separately awarded for my research and writing abilities in the classroom. I have always had an innate desire to teach. It is of the utmost importance for me to assist others in my community and the best place to start is in the classroom. My background in a variety of subjects, my advanced degree and success in my field, professionalism, and desire to help students excel in their own lives shows why I am the tutor for you.
