I am a Junior at Oklahoma State University majoring in Psychology. I also have an Associate's Degree in Elementary and Secondary Education from Tulsa Community College. I finished high school at 16. I have a 4.0 and have been on the honor roll every semester of my college career.
Experience
I have been tutoring children and adults for 9 years. I mainly tutor in writing, English, math, and History, test taking strategies, memorization and SaAT/ACT Prep. I like being a tutor because I enjoy encouraging others to find enjoyment in leaning and helping others find their 'aha' moment. I have a lot of experience with children on the autism spectrum. This experience has taught me to tailor tutoring plans to the specific needs of the student, Through this experience I have also learned many alternative methods of teaching and learning. I have also worked with children and adults with other learning difficulties or disabilities. I love the really difficult students, I enjoy the challenge of finding a way to make students enjoy learning.
