My high school years were spent helping my friends with long division and explaining the process to those who didn't understand it. I grew to love helping others, and decided to continue doing so through tutoring. I have tutored peers and other students who needed help.I gained my knowledge through Rice University, where I attended college. I majored in cell biology and biochemistry. I am now studying medicine, and would love to one day participate in Doctors Without Borders. My dream is to set up free clinics and teach locals about leading a healthy lifestyle.My science-related majors have made me adept in the field, so I tutor in related subjects. I offer courses for chemistry and science, as well as math classes like calculus and algebra. My main focus, however, is on Latin. I learned the language through middle school and high school, and it is a favorite of mine. I also offer classes in writing, English, languages, and test prep for the PSATs, SATs, and ACTs.When I'm not studying or helping others, I spend my time reading and watching TV. I also participate in the Rice Student Association, and enjoy going for swims and Indian dance.
