Experience
My experience includes over ten years of private tutoring in the language and culture of Japan, and assisting those students with difficulties understanding math. I have learned English as a second language in a Midwestern middle school. With phonetics classes from college, I have a good understanding of how people learn from hearing, imitating, repeating, and reading. The students include every level and needs ranging from a college Japanese major to a curious child who loves anime. Needless to say, I love math. I have tutored math to elementary school students for about a year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
