Private tutor in Tulsa, OK

Education

B.S. degree majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Utah Valley University M.S. Degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Tulsa, first year student.

Experience

My name is Clark, I am a current graduate student at the University of Tulsa working on an M.S. degree in biological science. I received a B.S. degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Utah Valley University. I currently am applying to dental school. I love teaching and have been a teacher's assistant as well as a tutor for students throughout undergraduate. I love to help those who need help and want to learn. I know how frustrating it can be to receive poor exam scores. My goal would be not only to help you understand the material but help you understand how to receive good scores on your homework, assignments, and exams. I love to help students by branching out to several different types of resources and avenues in order to more fully understand a topic. I'm a big believer in practice. Practice exams, practice problems, practice assignments all help prepare a student more fully and any other sort of preparatory material, that being said I will help you develop practice problems/exams in order to more fully prepare yourself. I have multiple years of experience working as a TA for several different undergraduate level science courses. Likewise, I have been able to help tutor many students 1 on 1, helping them receive high test scores. I love biology. I hated all types of chemistry throughout most of my life, with that in mind I would study and practice all chemistry type problems until I knew them backward and forwards. I would love to help those who struggle with chemistry the way I did. Science can contain some difficult concepts to grasp, my goal is to help make those concepts easy and understandable. I have spent considerable time working with cell biology, molecular biology, and evolution. I also feel very comfortable helping with math tutoring even though it was not my primary focus during undergraduate. I would love to help you get good grades. Going through the dental school application process I truly realize how important good grades are to one's future. Regardless if you wish to go into research as a full time career or get into medical school, I understand the necessity of high scores. Let me help you get that 4.0 so you can go where you want to in life.
